Honestly, it’s been a minute since I’ve been so disappointed in a book. If it weren’t for my reading goals this year, this would be a “did not finish”—I’m unhappy with the plot, the pacing, the jumping timelines, the characters, etc. the beginning was SO lovely and written so beautifully and as soon as characters started getting added it all fell apart.
