i'm absolutely eating this up right now, finding it hard to put down! ali smiths writing is so captivating and i feel completely immersed in the world of the novel and characters. i am also really enjoying her unique use of syntax, dialogue and missing words/letters which really adds to this tale of versatility and variety deep-rooted in language, and in human nature itself, as ali herself describes it.
