There are sections in this book that make me recoil, especially the male view and descriptions of women in this book.
And then you get hit by these gut wrenching, beautiful moments of acceptance between different characters.

This cycle repeats over and over, just as I think 'nah this book isn't for me', it immediately pulls me back in.
