Generally intrigued by the story and I like the personality of the protagonist so far. But I’m not keen on the writing style; a kind of unreliable narrator, in the sense that her understanding of science is at times flawed and her vernacular informal, whereby it’s difficult to distinguish slang with terms native to the universe. Result is the writing doesn’t allow enough time to keep up with the world-building.
