Oh man, I am struggling. Maybe I should just put the book down and walk away, but I want to know what the plot twist is going to be.
First off the main character annoys me to no end, and I don't think she's meant to annoy me, I think I am meant to relate to her or at least be on her side. And of course she is so strikingly beautiful that no man can resist her so she has to make herself look ugly by

And my god, can she stop being so incredibly horny. I'm here for the mystery not her lusting after literally every man we have encountered so far in the book.
Secondly, why does the romance elements of this book feel like they're straight out of a fanfiction? The author keep going on about how handsome Andrew is, always using the same words and descriptions to the point where it makes me feel like I'm listening to a teen describe their crush. We get it. He's handsome. Yet I feel like I barely know what the dude looks like because the author refuses to explain to us what makes him so handsome, it's just variations of the sentence "He's so handsome" over and over again
Also, please never say that a character "shivered deliciously" again
