When Caeror says Ka won on Res too I knew he was at the top of the catenan empire, because all these devices left around are clearly guarded against someone else gaining synchronism
Specifically the gate to Luceum requires the sacrifice of an arm (and will requires physical attributes to control) so anyone attempting it will be weaker then Ka by default!
