I’ve been wanting to try one of these “one year” Bibles. No time like the present! I bet it will take me more than a year though, we shall see!

Depending on your background can do the free Bible in a year with Father Schmitz that’s on YouTube or free on Audible. He does front to back, Gen to Rev. Or this type, NIV, it is broken into four sections: OT, NT, Psalms, and Proverbs. It’s not front to back cover. So every day can get a little bit of each section.
The one with Father Mike Schmitz comes with a little bit of commentary for comprehensive purposes.
I have trekked through this NIV since 2004 in print. In 2024 found a new copy of the same bible to start fresh. As the first copy is tattered from use. Looks like I’m showing off :)
I bought this on Audible because I like being read to. And I also follow along in my Bible.
Plus, if I’ve got a full day can listen and skip the print.
I bought mine of Audible. But you can get a print copy on Amazon or a Christian and maybe at a Barnes and Noble book store.
What I like about the Audible version is I can ask Alexa to play and though it does not mention the verses it does say what day we are on, like January 11, let’s say.
Because I have the print version it is ways to follow if I wanna highlight a verse.
Though the audio and print vary a little, I’ve read it enough to follow easily.
Hope this is helpful for making a selection, Melinda 😊
