i once read that the white space and line endings of poems are about being dragged through story. this poetry collection's dragging is so addictive and strong and visceral. each line is so evocative and tender and real. like sand inside a pearl.

this poetry collection has to be my FAVE. i love the repetition, the stark concrete images, and the sex and violence of it all.
