I wonder what the fold is, is it a black sea or does the shadow reach to the sky and all around? I also wonder what happened in the prologue obviously they aren't Grisha so they must have left years from that day.

I wonder what the fold is like is it just a black sea or is it completely black in the sky as well. I also wonder how the two left the orphanage because I thought they would leave as Grisha but they aren't Grisha now so I guess they must have just grown up.
