Reread for a book club

Wow, modern medicine/science is amazing. Cool thing how a family “misfortune”, something that follows family (tree) for generations is explained as the world progresses.

Really trying to work on this book, but it’s so long. It’s been nothing I have expected or what the little summery said, but I like it. I like reading about life, different cultural backgrounds, different timelines. This book is confusing at times when the story line jumps. Then you get invested in the storyline, and the character dies, but life is going on and on.

It’s a long book with lots going.

Got to part 3. Interesting, but… part 1 was about child bride and I was so confused what this book is about, but then the story unfolded and it was very interesting, then part two switched to this doctor guy and I’m confused again. His story was not as interesting to me and then it got to the part with him and Celeste and it was confusing. So we will see how it all unfolds, it’s a long book. I’m enjoying it.
