I’m sure there’s some good reason that’ll be revealed eventually, but the random switching back and forth on a clearly linear timeline from “girlfriend” to “fiance” is driving me insane. It’s clearly all one guy. And it’s all one timeline. So why can’t this guy keep it straight??? Is there some linguistic gotcha mcfadden is gonna do later? I hate those.
