I forgot, why were they so sure the arakeesian would swim the whole way to the channel?
I feel like I missed an important piece of the story

Somehow I like all strange and alien creatures in fantasy, some are often described as fair and somewhat trusting like Gullaime in this one. It is a powerful wind magician but used to serve. We get some crumbs of a backstory, to know that gullaime have a concept of family and are not that alien actually. Would be nice to know more about them.
I hope this featherless bird like creature will be ok

One of the stories where I’m not trying to pinpoint what will happen next. It’s going slow cause I got little time for reading, however, this is also one of those books with consistent steady progression without cliffhangers in between (in my opinion), so I don’t feel frustrated when taking a break till the next day
