I was afraid of reading this book after reading the reviews but am happy to say I did. This book’s focus is not solely on the Great Depression but on the events leading up to it from 1910s to 1930s, from the perspective of several major central banks. It shows the global economic slowdown during this period came as a result of the culmination of several factors aside from exuberance in the US market.
