A good if a bit uneven read (in my opinion).
Fast paced first half featuring undercover missions of the Inferno Squad’s undercover missions as spies looking to disrupt partisans within the Empire. Iden Versio’s complicated relationship with her artistic mother and stone cold father (Admiral Versio) makes for interesting dynamics. Big question - how far is too far?
