This book is incredibly frustrating to read. Kafka intentionally makes it feel like a claustrophobic fever dream, which is interesting, but also can make it feel like stuff is just happening for no reason.

There’s also pages and pages with no paragraph break, including dialogue. Again, I understand this is meant to feel disorienting, but it’s actually kind of infuriating to read.
We’ll see how the rest goes.
