The first documented mention of the bagel was in the 1610 Krakow community regulations in which the Jewish council declared that bagels were to be the customary gift to a woman after childbirth and I am 1000% on board with bringing this back because there is literally nothing more I want after popping out a kid than a sack of fresh bagels!!
