Sometimes, the one sentence digressions are lovely and really summarise the feeling and other times they feel completely out of place and meaningless.

It is beautifully written, but I’m finding it a bit hard to get through emotionally. It’s definitely not a relaxing read and makes one uncomfortable. This is not a bad thing. Definitely don’t take it too the beach.
