ykw I’m almost certain I don’t love the writing (lots of repetitive phrases/descriptions, kind of on the nose and retrospective [kind of? probably a bad way to describe it) but that doesn’t make it less captivating to read! does make me think about how I am once again so so so curious about how a reread of ocean vuong ‘on earth’ would go as considered one of my prev fave books
