This sudden conflicht between the witches seems so forced, I thought there have to be bigger powers at play. The ones that Granny sensed, for example. Hope it's that, although it is still played like good old jealousy at the moment.

Bought this book because it's a georgeous copy and I wanted a souvenir from London's oldest bookshop. The vibes of the first scene are masterfully summoned ("lightning stabbing like an unefficiant assassin" - great writing!). Now the very humour based writing of Pratchett, hat - as I know - is not my thing,already starts to slow everything down. Everytime I give it a try I'm so so that I'm not able to enjoy it more.
