Really strange book so far, maybe due to my expectations. It feels more like some ideas gathered in a notebook. The ideas are based around birth, death and religion (primarily orthodoxy and hinduism/budism). I would be curious to know more about Emil Cioran's chosen spirituality. If I'm not mistaken he was born in an orthodox family with a priest father, maybe that is where he's change to buddhism came about.
