I know my last update was me complaining about the number of povs in this book but the one-off povs from random civilians in this world are really good

Remember when I said I was gonna finish this before the end of 2025. Lol.

Thoughts so far--this book is Messy. The prose is sloppy with multiple (multiple!) run-on sentences over 50 words. The cast is bloated. I'm not sure they all needed POV chapters but maybe it'll pay off in the back 75%.

I think this series could really have benefited from a stricter developmental editor...

I'd really like to finish this before the end of the year but I'm really struggling with it. The prose feels much weaker than the last two. It seems the author has lost all sense of subtlety and trust in their readers. Everything is spelled out, but you don't feel it.

oh boy this ones gonna be a slog.......
