The dialogue in this is really bad. The first chapter was cringey, and I thought that it got better in subsequent chapters but am realizing that there’s just been less dialogue. Jack’s sister Hel legitimately ends a conversation about her being on the run with “and don’t get caught” as if that were exciting and dramatic when it’s really just a given.
