I love the book. I didn’t expect to change my mind about the book that much but here I am .and about Cardan now while hearing koda’s review now I rethinking after hearing Cardan explanation about her manner to Jude I loved him but what he did isn’t something light….you know? It’s my right Jude fight back and he didn’t do everything and he’s charming! And Tryen is b*tch.

When I read the Arabic version, on later pages, Nicasia mentioned that someone was betraying Jude, so I suspect it's the ghost. I don't know why, but I have a strong feeling about it.

About the story like I said I knew it but the English version is REALLY better I am so glad I bought it and the most different is I was hating Cardan but now I knew why they loved him and the characters seem more real not empty.it last 10% of the book and I am so excited to see the end and move to next book because I bought the three books but I am already worried about two extra book that I can’t buy it 😅

Okay I read a lot so I don’t know if I can tell all my notes but the highlights,I am in *love* him(Cardan)😭 and the ki*s part was sooo delightful 🥹 I really like Jude’s smart. I REALLY hate tryen.I like Oriana.I almost (if I did) cry when she told Jude the story.I like the Court Kings who cooperate with Jude until now at least especially Lord Roiben and the girl with him that I think she is his lover

I’m so annoyed so irritated hearing Tryen confess is pissing off I want to snap her I wished if Jude killed her or at least wounded her deep…
Before that, I liked Jude and her smartness and I love Cardan too ,knowing he wasn’t fighting Jude without reason he had his reasons and then he stopped when he knew the truth.

To be honest, I wish I could understand the descriptions but I don’t have the capacity to understand them yet.Luke and Jude moment make me feel angry and I HATE TRYEN.Cardan and Jude moment was…cute?.When Cardan said “You really hate me, don’t you?”I DON’T KNOW WHY I FELT SAD!I used to hate Cardan but I start to like him.Maybe the original copy really give me another vibes.

The more I go further the more the story got interesting. I had fun while reading that even make me forgot my sadness. I read the book before so there’s nothing more to talk about but I still be shocked when something happened. I like Jude.and I suspect the Ghost that be a traitor.

Things are getting interesting but at this pages when Jude is trying to save Sophie is boring honestly.Jude and Luke relationship is so irritated because I know how it will end and I notice things I didn’t notice when i read it first time and things I didn’t know because of the translation 😒

Okay okay….the book is going well but the thing that I know Locke is playing with Jude and Taryn is watching and ask her questions about Locke is piss me off extremely !! I hate Taryn the most !! And I reach one of my favorite part of the book (the Cardan letter )it’s so…I don’t know it’s funny .I reach the part when Jude inter the court of shadows but noting remarkable because I read that already

Well it’s going better than yesterday at least I really like that Jode just keep challenging then I think because she represent me if I was her I will keep bite back as possible as I could and it’s funny that the author Holly Black write something like Cardan stoped then and some readers be like oh! He will stop them because he lover! But nah he was want to humiliate her more 👍🏻
