DNF at 27%. haven't been interested enough to pick this up since my last update ... and life's too short to force myself to read something I lost interest in.

Interesting world building. Quite dark with warfare, necromancy, anomancy, vivimancy.

Anomancy/animancy - control over minds
Vivimancy - “the manipulation of the living and the life force itself. Practitioners can heal others by sharing their own vitality, or conversely, drain the life essence from others.”
