Slow going, no clear impressions other than a cloud of confusion that surrounds me whenever I open the book…not in what is happening, it’s not a difficult read so far, but just a vague unease that is not pleasant.

No doubt a bizarre and at times very tedious and indecipherable novel. But it left me with insights I haven't forgotten - and perhaps that is useful enough!

That sounds valuable. I have absolutely zero expectations as a lot people on Goodreads who I all have liked their reviews over the years and respected, people who have loved the same books I’ve loved and hated the ones I’ve hated, are all split 50/50 on this one. It is very confusing…
