It’s getting (marginally) better!

I’m slowly getting into the cadence of this (terrible) novel. But, hey, it’s the latest Pynchon!

I might ditch this book if it doesn’t pick up very soon. Definite shades of ‘Inherent Vice’, which was even worse. Somehow I just can’t come to terms with the ‘new’ Pynchon, who now just seems to be stuck in the 1960s and 1970s…

I just knew I wasn’t going to enjoy this, but you can’t not read the latest Pynchon, can you?
