If your crisis moment hinges on "I saw them hug someone else" and your character then becoming seemingly incapable of anything other than assuming the worst and not even *trying* to find out any more details, you only convince me your character isn’t worth it.

Pretty sure this is going to turn into "somehow, a text message didn’t arrive" and am now annoyed because neither character won’t speak up.

In fairness, I’d also believe the spiritualist if they got this much correct, and would likely also be hunting down a Stephen.
