Now that I am further in the book, I have realised that the writing style isn’t as bad as originally thought. It is going into a lot more detail but the dialog is still very plain. Overall a very good book

I really enjoy the plot in this one especially after having watched the movie a while ago. However, I am not a fan of the writing style. Maybe I am just used to reading books with more detail in the writing but overall Uglies is a fantastic book. Can’t wait to finish!
