After reading the first couple of chapters, Changez is now talking to an American about jobs, and he is really starting to show himself and who he is to Underwood. But at the start of the interview he Changez only came prepared to talk about 2 things, how good he is at soccer and his grades. But Underwood makes him speak more about himself, such as whether he needs financial aid, and where he's from.

After reading to page 60,Changez is really proud of himself because he believes that he accomplished the American Dream. He has been talking to a girl named Erica. He has been starting to fall in love with Erica, but she is still really sad about her ex-boyfriend, Chris, who passed away named Chris. Even though Chris is gone, Changez thinks that he still can't compete with the amount of love that Erica has for Chris.

After reading 30 pages of this book, I have enjoyed it a lot. Although many things are going on in the first couple of chapters, this is what makes the book interesting. The main character that the book has been focusing on mainly at the start is named Changez. Changez was a student who went to Princeton and was a very good soccer player until her had a season-ending injury.
