Incredible thus far, I can feel this book rather quickly finding its way into a special place in my heart.
I especially love Hugo’s guiding tone, allowing one to experience his novels not only as an observer but also as a participant in the events unfolding. His descriptions of the bell towers of Notre-Dame are beautiful; his musings on architecture as a universal language fascinating.
