Interesting start. Who really is the Other? Who is the 16th person? I’m glad Piranesi has found the albatross nice to be around. Seems to be world setting at this point.

It seems the house was created, but how? How did Piranesi get there? Why was he there? It seems the ‘Prophet” is Sayles, but why did he come back? Piranesi clearly has forgotten his past, perhaps much of it. He clearly has a knowledge of the real world, or else he wouldn’t know things like Scholar, or what an albatross is. But how has he forgotten universities, or places? Did the house make him forget?
