okay i think it just clicked in my brain that this isn’t a rom com like im used to with emily.

i’m not deterred by the story tho despite emily dragging this out like i want to know when and how the hell not only the couple but the friends COMMUNICATE

usually don’t like dual timelines but i like this & the characters- im just getting annoyed now bc we’re half way through and the cinema is the first time they’re having a proper conversation about their relationship like hello i don’t care about the lying to friends antics and flirting or whatever TALK

wait i’m enjoying this a lot ! perfect for the heat
