This is really pretty amazing. I can't say I get any of the occult references, but it is conveying sometimes original, sometimes eternal thoughts in a compelling way. It would be easy with all the ornamentation and self-conscious affectation on display here, to also carry over into the meat of the writing itself but it is spare and economical and at times beautiful --what could be more decadent than that?
