Zoe is trying to mitigate the situation & separate them. Zoe can tell Keith is high on something, which he admits to. Zoe trying to separate them leads to Keith attacking Zoe multiple times. Kayla try’s to get him away from her but Zoe won’t let them leave together. Dylan comes to the rescue saving the girls from further harm. Kayla goes with Jared & his mom who’s a nurse. Dylan takes Zoe home to care for her.

Zoe gets an assignment to follow the football team to their next away game to take photos. Dylan assumes Zoe & Mark are having some sort of affair still cause Mark visits her hotel room to yell at her for being there but never lets her explain. Zoe‘s dad visits her & she breaks down from having to keep this secret. Zoe & Dylan like each other but she thinks he would never like her & he thinks she’s semi-taken.

Turns out the coach is actually her dad & his son is her full brother. The author wanted us to think they were having an intimate relationship which we now know is not the case. Zoey is trying to get him to tell his son the truth but he’s an old prick.
Dylan & Zoey’s relationship continues to form beyond roommates but it’s definitely a slow burn. His friends find out where & who their friends new roommate is.

Beginning chapters were interesting cause they met here and there over their first years of college but one or the other was always dating someone else. It’s their final year, she’s secretly sleeping with the football coach and his girlfriend cheats on him with 2 of his roommates. His coach gives him the key to the extra apartment where she’s staying, that’s becoming roommates.
