It’s fine so far but the author goes on a lot of tangents. There are two chapters on the Civil War because most or all of the men on the Powell Expedition fought in the Civil War. I find it odd since this book is on the expedition. However, I enjoyed those two chapters because I haven’t read anything on the Civil War, so I learned something new.
