oh no, why a bitter place?

My ex was reading Siddhartha. But it so happened that my lived experience and his reading experience contradicted on the same day. I was very upset he chose to rather value what books have to say rather than listening calmly, on what I was sharing. I felt very dismissed over a book. I tried reading the book, online version, trying to understand him better. He never put that kind of effort, to try to know me better. But I did. I was doing it. Now he is obviously my ex and I am re-picking this book for myself and well, I like it too, but this bitterness for some reason remains.
