Yes yes it is. I need to read and find time to try the show!
I wasn’t aware it was a show. It was one of those books that came up in several unrelated conversations so I thought it would be worthwhile. It’s been a pretty entertaining and funny read. Nice change of pace so far.
We love the show! (the newer PBS Masterpiece show. It was also a BBC? show in the 70's-80's I believe)
Both book and tv show are huge favorites with my kids. The series is also excellent as audiobooks.
