Finished part 1 and I can’t even lie I find Charlie’s outlook on certain situations to be a bit silly as he is a 15 year old boy and I would’ve imagined knew what rape was and would’ve understood the implications of domestic violence. All in all still quite enjoyable at the moment and very digestible.

Finished part 3, I do feel quite bad for Charlie and think he is compelling as a character but I keep on being drawn to his sister so much more and I really don’t know why. I like Patrick and Sam’s alright but I still think she’s kind of a minger for how she leads Charlie a literal 15 year old kid on and then gets confused that he obviously still likes her? Like duh

Just finished part 2 and the writing being so simplistic and accessible is quite enjoyable and still manages to create beautiful prose. Though I do not like Charlie’s parents and I’m not that fond of his brother - I mainly just like his sister but I think I’m biased.
