How did no one catch this?!!! Do white people not hear themselves?!! Do white authors have no POC editors?!!!!

Her (the FMC's) eyes went from being described as 'dirty-brown' (p. 101) to eyes 'with green flecks near the iris' (p. 139).
I still stand by my previous point that describing brown skin or eyes as 'dirty' is problematic.
