i love the way monkeemania was still present during their reunion tour even though the show was 20 years old and micky, davy, peter, and michael were all in their late forties. clearly monkeeing around is eternal 😁

i find it important to note that it didn’t actually take me eleven minutes to read those five pages i just kept getting distracted because the book mentions reine stewart (peter’s second wife who, at this point in the biography, has become a part of his life) and her father james. apparently, it was erroneously reported that reine was the father of the actor jimmy stewart. the jimmy name drop not only made me laugh but it also ignited a reenactment of a scene between henry fonda and jimmy in on our merry way (1948) which i kept quoting. also. i kept repeating “america can’t afford to lose jimmy stewart!” so i really just kept distracting myself LMFAOOOOOO
