Was explaining to a friend how great this writing/plot is so far… suspenseful but not stressful. You can feel his propensity towards horror showing through. I said “it’s like when you feel the need to start walking a little bit faster, but you don’t know why”. Everyone read this book so we can talk about its subtle creepiness pleeaaase it’s so good even just halfway through
