The book is great. Recently, the book has been giving different perspectives of the soldiers and the things they were experiencing. In their current situation, they are focused on moving as many men as possible to Durant’s crash site to give the downed black hawk crew the best chance of survival they can get. It has been a deadly and emotional battle, but many of the soldiers are trying to keep their spirits up.

The book is great so far and explains the aspects of the war you don’t see in the movie. It does tend to get a little bit confusing at times but it is still great.
