I'm not sure whether it is Lennon or just Lampo that thinks Clytemnestra killed Agamemnon because of Cassandra. She hated him for the sacrifice of Ipigeneia long before. Lennon also suggests Cassandra had a choice, when she was just collateral damage allthe way around.

I read this and loved it, but that part annoyed me a bit, I chalked it up to Lampo being a little uninformed and i would think someone writing a book like this would know that story really well, but you never know.

The Agamemnon is my favorite Greek tragedy, so I jumped on this immediately.
