It’s quite intriguing because I inadvertently began reading the third book first, from Xander’s perspective. I believe it would have been more logical for the three books to have commenced with Xander’s perspective. After all, Callahan’s book (the fight) begins with a spoiler (Xander’s father’s funeral). It’s peculiar that it starts with someone’s perspective of someone else’s father’s funeral.
