This has really got me hooked, there have been some very good scenes. Have just finished part 1 and the ending page I have re read because it’s such a good couple of last lines. Excited to start the next bit. I am slightly confused by the main character(Kane) saying given what I know of my life expectancy? Is he dying.

The amount of people who have died in this book is getting unreal. I am more hooked into it. However, part of the usual plot of a spy/thriller book where an agent has been dropped into dangerous/hostile regions is that you are not sure if they are going to survive. There is a bit that states she would later tell me, E.G he’s still alive at the end, even though he’s just been captured.

Starting to enjoy this book a bit more, my interest peaked when the main character was recruited into the CIA due to impressive language skills. Even though I don’t believe in god, loved the reference to a quote which was “ if you want to know what god thinks of money, look who he gives it too” . Onward we forge to more of this book.
