i really want to like it but i hate the characters, the main characters‘ chemistry is off and the writing hard to get through at some points.

i haven‘t read a proper romance novel in a while but i refuse to accept the notion that romance is a genre of lesser quality or not to be taken seriously. romance can *obviously* be done well with developed characters and great writing. this isn’t that unfortunately :(
