Chapter 3: I love the Worldbuilding and the quirkiness of the characters, but I'm struggling to connect with this MC. As a reader I feel a little too detached from his thoughts/feelings/backstory.

Chapter 2: OK so if Chapter 1 is the "lead in" then Chapter 2 is definitely the "hook" because holy f**k was that insane.

Chapter 1: As opening chapters go, I honestly don't know how to feel about it. It was good, it was gripping, but it wasnt "hey, this is a book you NEED to read".

Love the way this is playing out so far, remindes me a lot of 'Necroscope' in both feel and tone.

That is such an interesting way to describe Trauma Response and I totally get the mentally behind it. It's one of those quotes where you go "that's exactly how it feels, but I've never thought of it like that".
