I’m so invested in Cywen’s arc.. her and Veradis are proving to be incredibly interesting. I adore Corban but he’s firmly in his reluctant hero age and it shows. The mystery around him is still killing me, I need more from his mom and Gar. I keep waiting for that lizard to just eat Nathair but no such luck 😂 Also the Maquin revenge story is setting up to be amazing.

Sooo they are straight lying to Nathair then.. but how does that benefit anyone to have him think he’s on the other side?

I haven’t had as much time to read this but I’m enjoying it very much. His writing style is classic epic fantasy but with a great pace. Unique.

Oh thank god I’m glad about her being ok, not so happy to hear about him not being ok.. though not my favorite character of the bunch.
