Kathy I would love to know your thoughts on this book when your done.

Noah Long I really enjoyed it. Like few Christians who have some degree of fame or platform, he rejects common modern Christiany tropes or “camps” in favor what the Bible clearly and sharply calls for. What he says & how he says it reminded me often of the teaching at Ellerslie — it’s all about Jesus, in the most beautiful & epic way. His personal history growing up ghetto is an influence on his perspective, and he draws unique parallels with Jesus’ own culture & teaching in that regard. I found myself squirming a few times as he makes many a bold statement I had to wrestle with a bit. This is not a comfy cozy book about comfy cozy Christianity — it’s a call to embrace being a radical disciple of Jesus. It’s dangerous because it’s foreign to the world (and church) at large, and because when embraced it will make a difference.
