Every person of colour is described by their “race” (ex: “African American” or “Latino or Hispanic”) instead of their physical characteristics. That is very annoying.
I’m guessing every other character who isn’t labelled as a certain race is “white”, the default? 🙄

The book was published in 2019?! I genuinely thought it was published last year. I’m only 4% done but the themes of pandemics and AI is eerily similar to what has happened in the world since this book was written. It’s giving Nostradamus.
